Community & Countryside – Post Code SG1 6**

The Friends of Great Ashby exist to encourage volunteer activities in and around the communities that are served by the connecting road of Great Ashby Way.

We also support our good neighbours in the Martins Wood, Chells Manor, St Nicholas, and Woodfield wards of Stevenage Borough, and the Graveley and Weston wards of North Herts District Council in their endeavors.

Our activities aim to enhance the wellbeing of Great Ashby, by supporting and encouraging social, ecological, and economic co-operation, education, and fun, through performing simple, straightforward, and pragmatic tasks that add value to our experience of our environment.

FoGA actively support Herts County Council (HCC), North Herts District Council (NHDC), Stevenage Borough Council (SBC) and the initiatives of the local parish & community Councils, as well as any residents’ groups.

FoGA may raise awareness and promote the activities of local groups, for example under events, talks & social wellbeing, however FoGA does not accept any liability for attendance and such events which is a matter between the host and the attendee.
