Bay Lane between Windrush Close (in SBC) and Cheviots Way (NHDC), as above will have the mud cleared today by Friends of Great Ashby, to aid our children in their return to school tomorrow. This seems to be a busy link for residents.
Your roving reporter met with Richard Young, HCC Projects Officer for Countryside Rights of Way (CRoW) on Friday 29th October 2021, and agreed a careful program to keep the path safe and accessible between now and January 2021.
A request will be made to the GACC/NHDC via Cllr’s Tyler & Davies, for salt to be provided at the Mendip Way, Windrush/Cheviots mid-section and the Great Ashby Way junctions with Bay Lane, to keep the paths safer…… but please be careful because you remain responsible for you and yours!
